Nasa

NASA's vision is to reach for new heights and reveal the unknown so that what we do and learn will benefit all humankind. We participate in Destination Imagination’s Global Finals for several reasons:
  • To provide inspiration for the next generation
  • To disseminate knowledge
  • To implement NASA’s education strategy for STEM
  • To introduce future employees to engineering and technical careers
  • To address an anticipated shortage of engineers at NASA and nationwide
Bottom line: More than half of DI’s Challenge options have direct application to the work of NASA.

“NASA’s education program has the same goals and objectives as Destination Imagination.  We are trying to identify talent that is creative and innovative and we are also trying to nurture that talent. This has been one of the most inspiring events I have ever been to” - Dr. Roosevelt Johnson, Acting Associate Administrator for NASA Education.
